As the Lunar New Year approaches, the air is filled with anticipation and the vibrant colors of tradition. At Vinalearn, this season is about more than just a holiday—it is a time for us to strengthen our bonds with our partner schools and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam.
This year, Vinalearn was honored to collaborate with schools across the region to host a series of memorable Tet events, bringing the festive spirit to the heart of the school campus.
A Celebration of Community and Culture
At Vinalearn, we believe that education flourishes when it is connected to the real world. Our Tet events are designed to bridge the gap between language learning and cultural appreciation. By integrating the holiday spirit into the school environment, we create a space where students can express their traditions while engaging with our international team.
From grand opening ceremonies to festive school-wide assemblies, the energy this year was truly exceptional. It was a joy to see students, faculty, and the Vinalearn team coming together to honor the Year of the Horse.
Partnership in Action
These celebrations are the result of months of planning and a strong partnership between Vinalearn and our host schools. We worked hand-in-hand with school administrators to ensure that every event was not only fun but also respectful of tradition and educational in nature.
Seeing the school grounds transformed into festive hubs of activity reminds us why these partnerships are so vital. They provide students with a holistic learning experience that stays with them long after they leave the school gates.
Where Tradition Meets Language
At the heart of these events is a unique blend of cultural preservation and active learning. Our goal was to create an environment where students could celebrate their heritage while naturally applying their English skills.
Throughout the festivities, students didn't just observe—they participated. It was inspiring to see them confidently using English to describe Tet customs, explain the significance of traditional decorations, and exchange New Year wishes with our foreign teachers. By moving the language out of the textbooks and into a festive school setting, students found a new sense of confidence in their ability to communicate.
The Joy of the Season
Our international teachers were equally delighted to be part of the celebration, often finding themselves taught by the students about the nuances of local culture. This mutual exchange of joy and knowledge is what makes our school partnerships so special.
Looking Forward to 2026
As we move into the new year, Vinalearn remains committed to being a partner in more than just academics. We are a partner in growth, in culture, and in community.
We wish all of our partner schools, their students, and their families a prosperous, healthy, and happy New Year. May the spring bring new opportunities and continued success for us all.
