Opening the Door to Knowledge: VinaLearn Welcomes Parents to Our Open House Events!

At VinaLearn, we firmly believe that close cooperation between the school and the family is the key factor in ensuring the holistic development of our students. This is why we have successfully hosted numerous Open House events, providing parents with the opportunity to step directly into their children's learning world.

The Open House is more than just an annual event; it's a valuable opportunity to bridge any gaps, helping parents truly understand what their children are learning and how they are learning it within the academic programs VinaLearn provides.

Discovering "What" Your Child is Learning

One of the main goals of the Open House is to provide a detailed introduction to the VinaLearn Academic Program. Instead of just reading dry materials, parents have the opportunity to:

  • Experience the Curriculum Firsthand: Parents can see and touch the textbooks, study materials, and digital resources that students use daily.

  • Understand Learning Objectives: Subject teachers specifically present the learning outcomes for each grade level, the key skills students need to acquire, and how different subjects are integrated (e.g., applying Mathematics to Science projects).

  • Tour Project Exhibits: Typical student projects and creative achievements are displayed. These serve as the clearest proof of the knowledge and skills your child has acquired.

Observing "How" Your Child Learns

The biggest difference at an Open House is that parents witness the modern teaching methodologies and how students interact in the classroom.

🌍 Global Communication with Foreign Teachers

At the Open House, parents show particular interest in classes conducted by foreign teachers and how their children approach international language and culture.

  • Enhanced English Interaction: Parents will see students not only learning grammar but also practicing fluent communication through group activities, role-playing, and presentations. Foreign teachers create a completely natural "language immersion" environment, helping children confidently use English as a communication tool.

  • Multicultural Learning: Lessons with foreign teachers often integrate elements of international culture, encouraging students to think critically and view issues from diverse perspectives.

  • Diverse Teaching Methods: Parents observe how international teachers apply modern teaching techniques, emphasizing discovery and soft skills, making the lessons more engaging and effective.

📝 Other Activities

  • Open Class Observation: Parents are invited to participate in short sample lessons, observing how VinaLearn teachers apply interactive, student-centered teaching methods. You will clearly see how your child engages in group discussions, performs small experiments, or uses technology in their studies.

  • Discussions with Teachers: This is a golden opportunity for parents to ask questions about assessment methods, classroom management, and the strategies teachers use to ignite a passion for learning in students.

  • Facility Tours: Parents can tour special functional rooms such as the Science Labs, Computer Rooms, library, and playgrounds, to understand the safe and well-equipped learning environment VinaLearn provides.

🤝 Building a Strong Connection

The Open House is an excellent opportunity for parents and teachers to build a solid educational partnership. When parents clearly understand the school's academic program and learning methods, especially how their child engages with the international learning environment, they can more easily:

  1. Support their child more effectively at home: Knowing the subject matter their child is learning helps parents guide revision and find appropriate supplementary materials.

  2. Collaborate with the school: By understanding VinaLearn's educational philosophy, parents gain confidence and actively participate in school community activities.

  3. Create positive learning motivation: Parents showing interest in their child's learning environment is a massive source of encouragement that helps the child feel supported and valued.

VinaLearn extends its sincere thanks to all parents who took the time to attend the Open House. Your presence and interest are the greatest encouragement to our teaching staff. We commit to continuing to organize meaningful events like this to jointly nurture and develop the younger generation!
